Affirmation is a small queer / trans owned hair studio based in the heart of Todmorden. We pride ourselves on inclusion providing a safe space for everyone who comes to us for a cut.
We're neither barbers nor hair studio. For us, hair is hair and we provide an experience in the sweet spot in between the two, something that is reflected in our pricing.
We believe we provide much more than just a cut. We're human first, not run based on a person's gender and we're here to provide an experience and environment where everyone feel comfortable.

Brimsley is our small, very friendly dog who is often in the studio.
We know dogs aren't for everyone, so please kindly let us know when your book if you're uncomfortable and we'll ensure our space is just right for you.
